Our Federal Enterprise Sales Team is responsible for helping the largest federal agencies and systems integrators accelerate innovation by addressing critical mission needs with true invention. We are expanding the team and seeking new members who operate with intentionality and can problem-solve for the most important federal missions. Role
Account Executive
— you will help with new customer acquisition and growth across federal agencies and the systems integrators that support them. You will leverage your knowledge, relationships and experience to identify key mission challenges and to sell an enterprise-level platform. You will build upon our investments to deliver the best technology to achieve critical federal missions and strive to exceed customer expectations by coordinating the resources needed to accelerate their journey with Instabase. What you’ll do
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within federal agencies. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the federal market. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Instabase software solutions and articulate how they address the needs of federal agencies. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships in the territory and with partner ecosystems (distribution, channel and alliances). Attend relevant industry events and conferences to discuss and share insights to increase brand awareness. Collaborate with Account Development, Sales Engineering, Solution Architects and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer success. Educate client procurement professionals and potential partners about Instabase’s capabilities. About you
8+ years of experience in business capture and proposal delivery in the government market, with a track record of contracting and closing enterprise-wide solutions and delivering customer success. Expertise in key markets such as the intelligence community or federal financials/civilian agencies; demonstrated success in quota attainment YoY through direct and indirect sales. Proven ability to develop client relationships with government IT and contracting personnel and a broad network of government contacts. Strategic and analytical thinking skills to identify opportunities and resolve challenges throughout the client development process. Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence internally and externally. Solid understanding of the federal acquisition process, capture management and proposal delivery. Self-starter who thrives in a startup environment and contributes to team success. Active Top Secret Clearance (TS, TS/SCI) preferred but not essential.
