Accounts Payable Specialist
to join our growing finance team in San Diego. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting invoice processing and other critical AP and administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Primary Duties (75%) Review, audit, and enter vendor invoices Support ongoing accounts payable processes and data entry tasks Secondary Duties (25%) Provide support for payroll and special projects as needed Hybrid Schedule:
In-office presence required approximately once per week, primarily for mail-related duties Flexible Work Hours:
Coordinated with team coverage (e.g., alternating weeks in office) What We’re Looking For Proven experience in accounts payable roles Strong attention to detail and ability to audit invoice entries Comfortable handling administrative and support tasks independently ERP system experience is a strong plus (NetSuite, SAP, Concur preferred) Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision Nice to Have Experience processing POs and employee expense reports Familiarity with 1099 processing and AP accruals Customer service skills and ability to work cross-functionally Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Contract & Interview Process Initial Term:
6 months, with likely extension up to 1–2 years Conversion to Full-Time:
Not guaranteed, though possible based on future business needs Interview Format:
One-hour video panel interview with three team members Resume Review:
