The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud”, but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve data modernization initiatives supporting Public Health networks? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of Public Health’s toughest data modernization efforts.

Responsibilities
As a leader on our team, you’ll design, implement, and manage cloud services management, architecting and deploying environments for clients to develop their solutions.
Work with the latest cloud technologies to improve clients’ environments using cloud capabilities.
Collaborate with our data modernization team to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud migration process.
Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
Guide your team as they help clients overcome difficult cloud challenges and develop critical systems for the Public Health network.
Share skills in cloud-based solutions, automation, and integration to identify areas of improvement with your team and clients.

You Have
7+ years of experience with configuration cloud administrative environments and tools, and building enterprise platforms
Experience architecting and building enterprise applications deployed in AWS
Experience building and designing secure, cloud-based architecture while adhering to development methodologies, engineering, and cloud standards
Experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL, and working with multiple cloud service providers, including Azure, AWS, or on-premises integrations
Experience developing, deploying, and troubleshooting IaaS environments
Experience with CI/CD technologies such as GitHub actions
Experience deploying applications in Linux or Unix-based environments, and writing shell scripts and commands
Experience providing detailed guidance to engineering team members creating and operating cloud environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
Experience developing cost management and optimization recommendations for client organizations
Experience with CDC administrative processes and procedures
Master's degree in CS
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solution Architect Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
