Senior BI Web Analyst
to join our Strategic Analytics team. This role will serve as the analytical bridge between Business Intelligence and Digital Customer Experience — transforming web behavior, merchandising, and customer engagement data into insights that help travelers explore our rich travel content and plan their adventures with us. You’ll work closely with our
Digital Customer Experience (DCX)
teams to optimize how prospective travelers interact with our website, enhance trip discovery and cart-building experiences, and inform digital strategies that guide customers through their journey selecting and personalizing their trip. You’ll help identify and maximize opportunities for web engagement and define and measure the success of the website through data. Key Responsibilities
Partner with DCX team to develop insights that improve site navigation, trip exploration, and cart-building experiences that encourage travelers to engage and inquire. Measure the success of Optimizely-based A/B and multivariate tests, from experiment design to post-launch evaluation, supporting site personalization and traveler engagement strategies. Collaborate with the BI Web Analytics Product Manager and business teams to establish data governance documentation for all Web Analytics metrics. Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and performance reports in Tableau and Adobe Analytics, ensuring consistency and clarity across key digital metrics tied to engagement and lead generation. Leverage Adobe Analytics data to evaluate traveler behavior, content effectiveness, and user journey patterns across digital touchpoints. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of web data layer implementations throughout Data Warehouse. Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from Oracle (current) and Snowflake (future) environments. Contribute to analytics modernization efforts involving dbt, Astronomer, and version control (Git) to support a scalable BI infrastructure. Deliver concise executive summaries and data narratives that connect analytical findings to strategic business actions across marketing, merchandising, and call center operations. Serve as a senior individual contributor and mentor, modeling best practices in analytical design, data validation, and storytelling. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar). 5+ years of experience in digital or web analytics, BI analysis, or performance optimization roles, ideally within a travel, hospitality, or ecommerce setting. Advanced proficiency in SQL, with experience across both relational and cloud data warehouse environments (Oracle, Snowflake). Proven experience with Adobe Analytics or similar, including workspace analysis and/or data layer validation. Expertise in Tableau or similar for creating dashboards and data visualizations. Hands-on experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms such as Optimizely. Familiarity with dbt, Airflow/Astronomer, and Git/version control preferred. Exposure to Python for analysis and visualization a plus (especially as the BI environment transitions to Snowflake). Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business and marketing leaders.
