Data Collection Supervisor, Optimus (Afternoon Shift)
Onsite presence required at our Palo Alto location and surrounding facilities. Schedule: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Tuesday–Saturday.
What To Expect The Data Collection Supervisor will help manage Tesla’s Optimus data collection team, contributing expertise on our data collection workflows. This role requires elevated flexibility, leadership ability to review and manage data collection output.
What You’ll Do
Plan and coordinate data collection schedules and activities across workflows and locations.
Monitor equipment health and performance, acting as point of contact between the data collection, engineering, and technician teams.
Review/approve operator timecards, expense reports, travel requests, and schedule shifts for Data Collection Operators.
Monitor data collection metrics and use them to inform operator performance management.
Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
Recommend and implement process improvements or new tools to enhance data collection efficiency.
