Paid Search Analyst (Entry-Level Digital Marketing) – Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 (target $50,000). Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role As a
Paid Search Analyst , you’ll manage and optimize online advertising campaigns that directly impact growth. You’ll learn how to plan and execute
SEM / PPC campaigns
across Google Ads and Bing Ads, analyze performance data, and apply insights to improve results. The role is hands-on, analytical, and highly collaborative — offering real responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize
paid search (PPC)
campaigns across multiple industries
Analyze performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS) to identify improvement opportunities
Develop scalable campaign structures, ad copy testing frameworks, and reporting processes
Support new market launches with tailored keyword and targeting strategies
Conduct A/B testing to refine bids, ad copy, and audience segments
Stay up to date on
Google Ads
and
Bing Ads
best practices, tools, and trends
Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required;
B.S. in Marketing
or a data/analytics-related field preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with comfort interpreting data
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Clear communication skills and curiosity about digital marketing and data-driven growth
Eager to learn new tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Excel, etc.) and grow quickly in a fast-paced team environment
Role Details
Salary:
$45K–$55K
(target
$50K , up to $55K for exceptional candidates)
Based in
Chicago, IL
Hybrid schedule
– 2–3 days per week in the office
Reports to the Director of Paid Search and Analytics
Hiring
two analysts immediately , with additional team growth planned later this year
The Process Candidates who move forward will complete two brief online assessments — a cognitive aptitude test and a
paid search fundamentals
quiz — followed by one virtual and one onsite interview.
