Position Overview: Starting Pay: $20.50/hour Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include efficiently transporting incoming freight, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe practices are followed while operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport incoming freight to storage inventory, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards. Replenish pick slots and organize stock items based on daily work orders, ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) for date-sensitive products. Manage overstock items and properly dispose of empty pallets and packing materials. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and workspace, reporting any safety hazards promptly. Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards. Utilize receiving sheets and computer instructions to ensure quality checks and necessary actions are performed. Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure all equipment is secured at the end of your shift. Additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organization. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed. Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, and stack products weighing up to 90 pounds. Comfortable working in various temperature environments, including coolers and freezers. Successful completion of a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
