As an OT Defects Senior Architecture & Governance professional, you will provide operational support for overall issue management, defect creation, monitoring, and tracking against the client’s referenced architecture. You will oversee OT systems to enhance security and ensure overall compliance, aligning OT architectures with organizational goals and industry standards.
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented OT Senior Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect Solution Analyst to drive architectural integrity, governance compliance, and effective defect and issue resolution across OT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure OT systems are secure, compliant, and continuously improved through structured governance and defect management processes.
Support the OT manager with defect/issues tracking, monitoring, architecture oversight, and approvals for OT systems, VLANs, and controls.
Review and validate OT system designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards; maintain and evolve governance frameworks, SOPs, and documentation.
Lead defect intake, triage, and remediation cycles; track and report on defects, accepted risks, and remediation progress.
Facilitate weekly defect review meetings and ensure timely follow‑ups with stakeholders.
Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues and provide guidance on governance and defect‑related matters.
Identify gaps in current documentation; propose updates and contribute to standard work and LEAN process improvements.
Develop and maintain documentation related to OT architecture standards, guidelines, and governance processes.
Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in the OT space to inform governance practices.
Technical Skills
Experience in Operational Technology (OT) environments and governance.
End‑to‑end issues management, exception/defect handling, and change request workflows.
Ability to build and manage SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates.
Knowledge of manufacturing, shopfloor, ICs, building management, or other OT environments and their safety, quality, and production considerations.
Security architecture design and assessment of technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML, and ZTA.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443) and ability to apply them to OT environments.
Security controls: firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, access management.
Risk‑based mindset, including remediation and migration planning and tracking.
Experience with ServiceNow and AuditBoard.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; demonstrable leadership of programs or projects.
Expertise in assessing complex OT architectures and defect patterns; ability to propose effective solutions.
Precision in tracking defects and remediation, documenting architecture standards, and ensuring compliance reporting.
Excellent communication with product owners and client stakeholders, articulating review reasoning and rationale.
