Join Infinite Roar as the Director, Audience Strategy where you will lead the development of audience‑centric data strategies across our portfolio and partner with the VP of Audience Strategy and the DTAI team.
Overview The Director, Audience Strategy will operationalize and scale the Audience Strategy practice, driving Ad‑Tech/MarTech integration and data‑led audience solutions for our clients. You will partner closely with Strategy, Activation, Operations, Media Analytics, and AdOps to implement these strategies across multi‑channel plans and champion a “player‑coach” approach.
Responsibilities
Serve as day‑to‑day team lead, mentoring direct reports and managing delivery against client workflows while operationalizing the strategic vision for Audience Strategy.
Own tactical workflows and implementations, including creation of strategic audiences, utilization of deterministic technologies, and documentation of audience strategy work.
Represent Audience Strategy as the in‑house experts on 1P and 3P audience data and data‑driven media activation, communicating across stakeholders.
Guide usage of audience data to impact media strategies, optimizing addressable and offline audience approaches and improving targeting precision in real time.
Conduct primary audience research, define core audiences, and establish stakeholder alignment to shape marketing and content strategies.
Implement and drive personalization strategy across all channels, including mobile, desktop, client website, CRM, and more.
Explain platform and data technology concepts in ordinary terms, maintaining deep technical knowledge.
Partner with VP of Audience Strategy to understand the marketing and data technology landscape and pair solutions with client needs.
Collaborate with DTAI leads to evangelize product offerings and develop collaborative audience frameworks aligned to measurement plans.
Develop relationships with identity resolution platforms, CDPs, and other AdTech solutions, managing deployment and activation of data technology solutions.
Work with internal Programmatic and media investment arms to support campaign activation and advanced data use cases.
Support the VP of Audience Strategy in authoring media documents, RFPs, plans, and client correspondence.
Share knowledge of audience insights and results with clients and internal teams to influence business decisions.
Champion audience work and craft proposals that maximize data strategy relative to ad spend.
Qualifications
6+ years managing relationships across complex hierarchies with demonstrated indirect influence.
8+ years of experience in digital media and ad technology.
Excellent oral, written, and client presentation skills.
Deep technical knowledge of advertising and marketing technology, including ad servers, DSPs, identity resolution, and CDPs.
Strong experience using audience data to drive media strategy and activation outcomes.
Strong project management and digital media planning skills.
Agency‑side experience preferred.
Experience managing multiple clients and brands across third‑party measurement platforms.
Rapid adaptation to new ad measurement and technology platforms, with implementation experience across DSPs, ad servers, and tracking.
Digital audience and performance marketing data analytics experience preferred.
Experience with BI/Data Analytics, Martech, AdTech, CDP, CRM tools.
Start‑up experience is a plus.
