Chief Financial Officer
to join their team. This is a
full-time / permanent position
with a
direct client of Aprio Talent Solutions .
Location:
Chamblee, GA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Compensation:
Up to $250K base + 20% discretionary bonus + profit share potential within 1–2 years
Must-Haves
CPA required
Extensive experience in
multifamily real estate accounting and finance
— including property management, development, and investor/fund reporting
Prior experience with vertically integrated multifamily real estate platforms
Proven track record managing accounting teams and building scalable financial processes
Strong working knowledge of real estate systems (Entrata or similar)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Willingness to be fully on-site and engaged with cross-functional teams
Summary This is a key leadership opportunity to step into a growth-focused, vertically integrated real estate company with active investment, development, and property management operations. The firm manages a large, expanding multifamily portfolio across the Southeast and has strong, stable leadership in place. This role will be replacing a long time CFO who has transitioned out on good terms and will be part of the hiring process and training for a smooth transition.
This role reports into the COO & CIO who have been with the company 10 - 15+ years each.

What You’ll Own
Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting functions
Lead and mentor a 7-person accounting team (Controller, construction accounting, staff accountants, etc.)
Manage audits, tax returns, K-1s, and JV accounting
Partner with operations, development, and fund management teams to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness
Streamline accounting systems and processes (currently using Entrata and ADP)
Lead treasury, cash flow, and investment management activities
Support acquisitions, dispositions, and capital projects
