Introduction Our client is a full‑service veterinary hospital in Los Gatos, California, seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, ranging from routine wellness to involved medical cases and surgery.

Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. This is a full‑time position with rotating weekend responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload, including preventive wellness, diagnostics, internal medicine, and surgical procedures. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship to support their professional development. The hospital emphasizes low‑stress handling and fear‑free techniques to ensure a positive experience for patients.

Practice Details The hospital is AAHA accredited, a certified Gold Cat Friendly Practice, and a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Feline Veterinary Medical Association. Facilities include digital radiography, OFA X‑ray, Tonopen, ultrasound, and hands‑free radiology. The hospital combines advanced technology with a commitment to fear‑free and feline‑friendly care.

Candidate Requirements

Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)

Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in

Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Base Salary $64,480–$180,000 + Production
