Tempus Veterinary Recruitment has partnered with iHire to reach top talent for an Associate Veterinarian opening at a community hospital that provides daily urgent care and walk‑in services.
Working Hours / Rota The position is full time. Hospital hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm; Wednesday 8:00 am‑4:00 pm; Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm.
Role Description & Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care, including physical examinations, surgeries, dentistry, diagnostics, and client consultations. Responsibilities include:
Generate and present treatment plans
Maintain accurate medical records
Support the development of the paraprofessional team
Communicate effectively with clients and provide education
Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostics and therapeutics: digital radiography, ultrasound, cytology, endoscopy, in‑house IDEXX lab, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, and digital dental radiography. Services include urgent care, surgery, wellness visits, dental hygiene, diagnostics, vaccinations, spay/neuter, senior care, exotic/pocket pet medicine, and behavior/nutrition consultations.
Team The team consists of 5 veterinarians and a highly skilled support staff in a collaborative, client‑centered environment focused on teamwork, education, and quality care.
Candidate Requirements
Hold a relevant veterinary degree and any required additional qualifications in the USA
Have, or be in the process of obtaining, a state license for the state of employment
Be authorized to work in the United States or able to obtain the required visa
Package & Benefits Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 Annual (Base + Production)
