Overview
The USF Department of Neurosurgery, Brain and Spine is seeking a full-time neurosurgeon to develop a clinical practice in Brooksville, FL in partnership with TGH Brooksville Hospital. The individual may have the opportunity to conduct clinical research and participate in resident teaching. M.D. degree, Neurosurgery residency, and eligible to obtain a Florida medical license. Fellowship is not mandatory. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate, or Full Professor. Responsibilities
Develop and manage a clinical practice in Brooksville, FL in partnership with TGH Brooksville Hospital. Provide patient care for injuries and diseases of the brain, spinal cord and spinal column, and peripheral nerves using neurosurgical techniques. Engage in clinical research opportunities where available. Participate in resident teaching as part of academic duties. Clinical responsibilities may include 1-2 days/week outpatient practice and 3-4 days in the operating room or inpatient settings. Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and completion of a neurosurgery residency. Eligibility to obtain a Florida medical license. Fellowship is not mandatory. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor. Working at USF
