About the opportunity As Head of Communications for Ericsson Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) you will lead media and analyst relations; social media; executive and employee communications; supporting Ericsson’s enterprise wireless business globally. The right candidate is an experienced team leader who can build strategic communications plans, evolve and develop the overall communications practice, and jump in to coach and help their team execute.

What You Will Do

Lead a team of highly skilled communicators.

Develop strategic communications plans to support Ericsson Enterprise Wireless business plans and coordinate with Ericsson corporate for alignment.

Drive with agency support a proactive media relations plan, including media pitches, bylined articles, awards, and speaking engagements, in support of business successes and executive thought leadership.

Drive the analyst relations program and team to build and maintain influential relationships with key industry analysts, while leading key enterprise analyst keystone events.

Support our channel and ecosystem with news announcements and press releases.

Coach spokespeople (executive & senior management as well as subject matter experts) in interviews and other external events, including media and message training.

Manage relationships with public relations agencies and the related budgets.

Oversee the regional employee communications program, including all-employee meetings, leaders’ meetings leadership messages, newsletters, articles, and the intranet.

Lead employee communications campaigns around strategy, ethics and compliance, and other business focus areas.

Provide communications counsel and guidance to executives through issues and crises.

Develop and oversee the strategy and content for regional social media channels.

Support executive thought leadership through speaking engagements, earned media and executive social media presence.

Drive increased employee social media advocacy.

Up to 50% travel is required.

The Skills You Bring

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, or related field.

15+ years of experience in communications, with expertise in media relations, social media and employee communications.

Experienced people manager with a focus on coaching talent.

Experience in the B2B enterprise and technology industry is preferable.

Exceptional storytelling, writing, editing, proofreading and oral presentation skills.

Exceptional executive presence and management.

Creative thinker with extreme attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a diverse, fast‑paced and matrixed environment.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight deadlines.

Has a positive attitude and willingness to work with others.

Compensation & Benefits Your Pay: The salary range for this position varies by location and candidate qualifications. Sunnyvale, CA: $230–345k.
