Position Summary

The Executive Vice President of Administration and Finance is responsible for providing financial and physical condition of the University by providing strategic leadership and oversight of management functions including maintenance and new construction and oversees Purchasing, Physical Plant, Facilities, Mail and Printing, Budget, University Police, Accounting, Bursar, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Employment Services, Fleet, and Equal Opportunity. Essential Job Duties

Oversee all matters related to the fiscal management of the University. Responsible for the receipting of all monies received for the University, formulating budgeting information and producing the budget, proper disbursement of all monies spent by the University and proper presentation of the financial statement of the University. Completes reports, surveys required by the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges, Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, as well as other state, federal and county agencies. Coordinates the accounting and reporting functions of the financial office and accounting office. Supervise and develop a team of both direct and indirect reports. Assists Academic, Student, and Athletic departments. Evaluate staff performance and make recommendations for hiring and dismissal. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee. Omission of specific statement of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience Professional degree preferred 5 years of managerial experience preferred Licenses/Certifications

Comprehensive understanding of higher education financial management Understanding of sophisticated financial and computer systems, human resource management, facilities management, financial management, and a commitment to social justice, affirmative action and equal opportunity Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in developing and executing enrollment strategies Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive results in management context Excellence in building and maintaining collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder groups Proven track record of strategic decision-making and problem-solving in higher education Strong commitment to professional accountability and ethical conduct Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible Ability to communicate in a courteous manner Physical Demands
