Overview
Principal / Director of Key Account Sales & Strategic Business Development Seattle, WA (Hybrid / Remote, with occasional visits to Santa Clara HQ) $250K Base (Could go higher depending on experience and capability) + Performance-Based Bonus Comprehensive Health Insurance This role will focus on leading strategic business development and key account sales in the Seattle region, engaging directly with major cloud and technology partners including AWS, SpaceX, and Microsoft. As we expand our enterprise storage solutions across North America, this position will play a critical role in building strategic customer networks, identifying new business opportunities, and driving long-term partnerships with top-tier hyperscaler accounts. Beyond sales, the role requires the ability to translate customer technical and business needs into product strategies and collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen global partnerships. Required
10+ years of experience in semiconductor, SSD, NAND, storage, or data center-related industries Proven track record in business development or sales with Cloud Service Providers / Hyperscalers Strong customer communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Established network with procurement and sourcing teams of key cloud or OEM customers Be based in the greater Seattle area (no relo assistance) Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus) AWS or related cloud ecosystem experience highly preferred Experience in SSD or enterprise storage product business development Strong capability in strategic proposal development and business communications Responsibilities
Identify and expand new business opportunities across the Seattle region, focusing on cloud, data center, aerospace, and high-tech industries. Lead strategic collaborations and business opportunities with major companies such as AWS, SpaceX, Microsoft, and Tier-1 OEMs. Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and procurement teams at key accounts (AWS, SpaceX, Microsoft, etc.). Understand customer organizational structures and decision-making processes to strengthen long-term partnerships. Collect and analyze customer feedback and market insights to support internal business strategy decisions. Support and expand business opportunities through successful execution of key customer projects. Work closely with product and marketing teams to align customer requirements with our technology and business strategy.
