Position Overview OPTOMETRIST – Mobile Optometry – Baltimore, MD
Compensation : $85/hr.
Location : Baltimore, MD. This position is up to 5 days/week and works on a mobile clinic. Must be flexible to commute throughout the greater Baltimore area.
Key Responsibilities
Provide vision evaluations: check visual acuity, assess binocular vision, intraocular pressure, pupils, perform a full refraction and prescribe appropriate correction, and assess ocular health.
Prescribe vision devices and tests, select appropriate equipment for patient condition, and instruct patient in proper use.
Confirm that patient diagnosis is properly documented in the internal systems.
Qualifications
Maryland Optometry License.
Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.
Mobile clinic: flexible to commute throughout greater Baltimore area.
Schedule
Monday to Friday.
No nights.
No federal holidays.
Education
Doctorate (Doctor of Optometry) required.
License/Certification
Optometry License required.
Employment Type
