About the Opportunity

A well-established national real estate development and construction firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join its team for a new multifamily residential community in the Greater Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to contribute to a large-scale project from preconstruction through completion while working within a highly respected organization known for delivering premier residential communities. About the Project

The selected APM will support a 320-unit multifamily development located in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The project consists of wood-frame construction with four-story buildings on grade, including five residential structures and eight stand-alone garages. Construction is scheduled to begin in

November 2025 . In the months leading up to groundbreaking, the APM will play a key role in buyout, permitting, and other preconstruction activities, reporting directly to the Project Manager assigned to the project. Key Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating all phases of project management from preconstruction through closeout. Support procurement, subcontractor buyout, and permitting processes. Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and local authorities to ensure compliance and efficiency. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation in coordination with the Project Manager. Participate in subcontractor meetings, RFIs, submittal reviews, and change order management. Maintain project records and support field operations as needed to ensure quality and safety standards. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering is required. Prior experience as an Assistant Project Manager on a construction project is required. Multifamily construction experience is strongly preferred. Preconstruction experience is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 (commensurate with experience) Bonus: Eligible for participation in the Construction Bonus Plan Benefits: Comprehensive medical (3 plan options), dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; flexible spending accounts; and a 401(k) with company match (fully vested after 3 years). Eligibility: Benefits begin on the 31st day of employment.
