Supplier Quality Engineer Department
Operations (OXO and Hydro Flask) Work Location
New York, NY Hybrid Schedule

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for quality assurance and control of current and future OXO and Hydro Flask products/production throughout the lifecycle as well as the successful maintenance of a comprehensive product quality program. Participate in product development teams to ensure product quality Collaborate with design engineering on product test plans Build and maintain product inspection plans Product inspection plans delivered to Quality team prior to pilot Train inspection team for new product quality requirements prior to launch New product quality reviewed and approved prior to release Proactively monitor product quality and respond to changes Collect and analyze product quality data through inspection results, warranty claims, product reviews, etc. Establish production product testing cycle to supervise tooling life and audit production quality control Promptly root cause quality issues, contain exposure and implement targeted corrective actions Drive product quality improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle Prevent quality issues from multiple occurrences Work together with in-country support services to ensure product quality before shipping as well as to advance overall vendor quality Sustainably evolve quality inspection process as supply chain evolves Monitor vendor quality metrics and cooperate with vendors to enhance quality processes throughout production Better product quality inspection pass rates Improve vendor quality against metrics Skills needed to be successful in this role
Quality management systems Statistical quality analysis Product quality standards and compliance Demonstrated record of problem-solving and implementing corrective action Proven to proactively address trends Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical engineering or equivalent Engineering 3+ years of experience working with product quality management Confirmed background in solving product/manufacturing defects and implementing corrective action Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Preferred Qualifications
Experience in metals, plastics, or soft-goods manufacturing Experienced communicating with a global vendor network In New York City, the standard base pay range for this role is $84,000 - $90,000 annually. This base pay range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Benefits:
