Assurance Staff Associate (Hybrid – Jupiter, FL)
A well-established Top 100 CPA firm is looking to bring on a Staff Associate to join its Assurance team in Southern Florida. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their accounting career in a collaborative and team‑first environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to a variety of industries, and play a hands‑on role in engagements from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Review prior‑year workpapers and interim financial statements before engagements
Assist with audit procedures and financial reviews for various clients
Draft management letter comments and document related client discussions
Build a solid understanding of client policies, procedures, and operations
Evaluate accounting systems and assess internal controls
Work closely with team members and maintain direct client interaction
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
150 CPA‑eligible credits by start date
Minimum GPA of 3.0
1–2 years of experience in public accounting or industry
Intention to sit for and complete the CPA exam within two years
Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
