About the Firm Confidential, fast‑growing accounting and advisory firm in Florida seeking an Associate for its Audit & Assurance team. Role Overview The Associate will contribute to audit engagements from planning to completion, performing technical procedures, supporting client deliverables, and collaborating with senior team members. This is a hands‑on role providing exposure to complex projects while building professional expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Review prior year work papers and interim financial statements before engagements.
Perform audit procedures for moderately complex areas and draft management letter comments.
Maintain knowledge of client policies, procedures, and business practices.
Understand clients’ accounting systems and controls; assess effectiveness.
Collaborate directly with clients and senior leadership throughout engagements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; 150 CPA credits completed before start date.
1–2 years of public accounting or industry experience.
GPA 3.0+; plan to complete CPA exam within two years of hire.
Strong Excel, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Motivated, coachable, integrity‑driven, and willing to travel to client sites.
