We are seeking a Payroll Specialist with experience in multi-state payroll processing and strong technical skills in payroll systems and Excel. This role will be responsible for managing complex payroll in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with HR, Finance, and operations teams to support an hourly and salaried workforce across multiple locations. What You’ll Do: Process payroll runs (e.g., semimonthly) including wages, bonuses, overtime, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and commissions Manage multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with state‑specific wage and hour requirements Audit payroll data for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues promptly Validate commission payments against contracts and production/sales reports Support payroll needs for hourly manufacturing employees, including multiple shifts and varying pay codes Respond to employee and internal team inquiries with a focus on accuracy and customer service Maintain detailed payroll documentation and prepare reports for management and audits Utilize ADP for payroll processing and apply advanced Excel skills for reconciliations, GL entries, and ad hoc analysis Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple sites Qualifications:
Experience with commissions and complex payroll processing Strong background in multi-state payroll, including hourly, overtime, and shift differentials Hands‑on ADP knowledge and/or advanced Excel skills and other large Payroll System experience Ability to see the big picture and understand payroll’s impact on company operations and cost control Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, professionalism, and strong communication skills Why Work with Addison Finance & Accounting?
