About the Role
As a CBRE Facilities Coordinator, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is part of the Facilities Management functional area, which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do
This role is in the data center sector.
Spend roughly 70% of the workday walking around the facilities.
Support four buildings that are within walking distance of each other.
Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure compliance with procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders.
Collect information reports to monitor performance and progress status.
File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
Monitor outside‑building activities such as proper waste disposal and recycling.
Follow instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ask clarifying questions as needed.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co‑workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while exercising limited discretion.
Deliver results by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
Any financial background is a plus.
CMMS experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
White glove‑service background helpful.
Vendor management experience helpful.
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of related work experience.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
Effective communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
Basic math skills – ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
