Responsibilities
Ensure safety is the main focus while also making sure KPI’s are met.
Monitor the daily inbound/outbound schedule and achieve 100% LRTC that is in your shift control.
Manage the daily work load and labor hours.
Complete all shift reports accurately.
Ensure the distribution center and our mill areas are kept clean and “tour ready.”
Keep our inventory accuracy at 99% or higher.
Complete accident investigations, reporting, and retraining.
Interact and respond appropriately and courteously with our customer and our employees.
Conduct warehouse audits and safety observations.
Complete all coaching, performance evaluations and discipline write-up in a timely manner.
Strong training skills and patience.
Other assignments/projects as needed to ensure our customer needs are met.
Mentor and coach Production and Dock Leads.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to make decisions and stay calm under pressure.
Ability to build and maintain a cohesive team.
Proficient reading and writing skills.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Perform daily tasks in an organized manner.
Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years previous leadership experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse environment.
