We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced IT generalist who’ll be the face of IT in our Austin office as you support everyone from engineers to executives. From solving everyday technical issues to shaping smarter workflows, you’ll be the go-to person keeping our teams connected, and our systems running smoothly.
About the Role As our on-site IT Specialist, you’ll provide technical support, manage local infrastructure, and collaborate with our IT team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining uptime, optimizing collaboration tools, and ensuring a smooth experience for every user in our Austin and Dallas offices as well as international employees.
What You’ll Do
Onsite support:
Deliver hands-on help desk support for a primarily macOS fleet (and some Windows). Troubleshoot issues, resolve escalations, and keep our users productive.
Administer SaaS & Identity Management:
Administer, support, and troubleshoot Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, YouTrack and other internal tools. Manage user access, groups, and license tracking.
Conference Room & Event Support:
Set up, monitor and troubleshoot meeting rooms, livestreams and hybrid events. Partner with Marketing for local events.
Network Management:
Coordinate with our networking team, monitor performance & security.
Device Lifecycle & Inventory:
Procure, setup and provision laptops via Jamf Pro / Intune, Asset Sonar, oversee repairs, maintain asset database and payments.
Process & Security:
Document knowledge base runbooks for employees.
Global Collaboration:
Share knowledge and participate in on-call rotation with IT peers in Serbia, the US and Israel.
What You’ll Need
3-6 years of experience in a
SaaS-first, cloud-native workplaces .
Clear, friendly communication with employees, non-technical stakeholders, and execs.
Deep experience with
MacOS administration
and a solid understanding of
Windows
administration
Experience with MDM tools
(Jamf, Intune).
Good
networking
fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
Proven experience supporting
Google Meet and Zoom Rooms
and other AV/event setups.
Ability to work
on-site, full-time
(5 days/week) in Austin
Willingness to provide after-hours support
for events or system cutovers.
Occasional business travel to Dallas .
