Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service. Develop, manage and assign tasks to maintain a clean, well-stocked site meeting Company standards. Maintain a professional image among subordinates and supervisors. Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and site appearance. Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees. Develop positive relationships with suppliers and promote excellent service; resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly. Promote a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Prepare ongoing performance appraisals in writing and provide performance-based feedback. Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards. Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Ensure effective communication with all employees and establish periodic meetings with site staff and the Market Manager. Evaluate and implement action plans to meet site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals. Supervise store employees to ensure timely completion of required reports; ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly. Ensure employment posters and notices are easily accessible to all employees. Manage and supervise store operations to maximize sales and profitability; oversee reporting and financial controls as needed. Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Ability to supervise and train staff and use equipment as described in CSR/ASM roles. Ability to use computer systems for reports, inventory control, cash handling, and related duties. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings. Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Working Conditions
Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor duties (parking lots, pumps, trash removal). Occasional exposure to cold temperatures in walk-in coolers/freezers and to ambient noise. Work with minimal supervision and lead as an effective manager and supervisor. Note
