As an oncology account executive, you will drive sales volume for our Northstar liquid biopsy product line, cultivating relationships with oncologists and the broader cancer care community.
Responsibilities
Increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual oncologists.
Create and implement a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly in your geography.
Prospect effectively, cultivate new business, and maintain key relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated successful sales track record (e.g., Presidents Club, Chairman's Club, Rookie of the Year, or a history of hitting or exceeding goals for multiple quarters/years).
Experience selling to medical providers, including diagnostics, medical or surgical devices.
Lives within the defined territory and is centrally located to the target accounts.
Commitment to travel within the defined territory.
Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present to both internal and external customers.
Effective time‑management skills demonstrated through prioritizing opportunities.
Exceptionally bright, flexible, self‑motivated, and results‑oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff with a consultative sales approach, coordinating logistics, and problem solving.
Strong desire to thrive in a startup environment while working independently and driving success.
Preferred Backgrounds
Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse who has experience ordering late stage cancer liquid biopsy tests.
