Job Description We are recruiting for the best talent for Senior Counsel, Vision to join our Global Legal Organization. This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL, Irvine, CA, New Brunswick, NJ, or Raritan, NJ.

Responsibilities
Support of go‑to‑market activities for Johnson & Johnson’s Vision products.
Preparing and negotiating agreements such as consulting, supply, distribution, co‑marketing, and data use and data rights agreements.
Assisting the global internal audit or litigation teams in litigation and investigations.
Training, educating and advising business partners on key legal topics, and serving on project teams and committees to assess and implement initiatives in the J&J Vision business and/or the Global Legal Organization.
Coordinate advice from and work closely with other key legal and compliance specialists supporting the Vision business in the United States, including health‑care compliance, employment, regulatory, privacy, product liability, IP, digital technology, trademark, tax, business development, commercial programs, supply chain and other specialists.
Qualifications
JD degree from a nationally recognized university, or overseas legal qualification is required.
Admission to and current good standing with the bar of at least one state or the District of Columbia or approved as Authorized House Counsel in good standing.
At least 6 years of proven experience preferred. Experience should include work at a major market law firm, or in‑house legal department.
Significant experience in the healthcare industry required (medical device sector a plus).
Strength in general corporate / commercial matters, including negotiating and drafting skills and attention to detail.
Experience advising on applicable healthcare, privacy and medical device laws and regulations, including the False Claims Act, Anti‑Kickback Statute, HIPAA and the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act.
Commitment to ethical decision‑making and the ability to build trust with business partners.
Capacity to address ambiguity in emerging areas and lead problem‑solving for new business challenges within a driven market.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under time pressure and to balance multiple demands.
Strong interpersonal skills sufficient for interaction with senior executives and other business partners.
Collaborative abilities, including coordination with J&J attorneys, external counsel, functional leaders, and advisors.
A positive demeanor and the skills to work across business functions and cultures with teams located in multiple time zones, and to act independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to receive specific direction from more senior attorneys and provide guidance to contract professionals.
Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S.
