Atlantic Group is hiring a Property Accountant for a portfolio of real‑estate properties in Delaware County, PA. This role involves full‑cycle accounting, including monthly close, financial reporting, tenant receivables, and compliance with lender and investor requests.
Job Overview Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 per year + annual bonus
Location:
Delaware County, PA
Schedule:
Monday to Friday (In‑Office)
Responsibilities
Month‑End Close:
Manage the monthly close process for multiple properties, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Cash & Reconciliations:
Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash activity, and maintain accuracy across accounts.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare financial packages, review P&L statements, perform variance analysis, and maintain supporting schedules.
Tenant Receivables:
Oversee tenant billing, collections, and receivable balances.
Accounts Payable & Compliance:
Process vendor invoices, manage vendor setup, support lender and investor requests, and assist with year‑end audits.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Experience:
2‑5 years of property or real‑estate accounting experience; preference for senior living properties.
Technical Skills:
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting; proficiency in Yardi strongly preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GAAP, real‑estate accounting practices, and internal control processes.
Attributes:
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, strong communication, and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
