Overview
Paraplanner — The Piedmont Group (Dunwoody, GA) salary: $65,000 – $85,000 + Benefits. Local candidates only. Join a boutique wealth management firm committed to excellence. The Piedmont Group in Dunwoody is actively interviewing for an experienced Paraplanner to support one of our lead financial advisors. This is a full-time position with an in-office requirement, transitioning to a hybrid schedule once fully onboarded.
Responsibilities
Client Service & Financial Planning Support
Partner with senior advisors to deliver high-quality client deliverables and drive ongoing improvements in internal processes.
Prepare detailed client meeting agendas that highlight key action items, follow-ups, and future planning opportunities.
Analyze investment portfolios, generate performance reports, and identify rebalancing needs to ensure alignment with client objectives.
Review life and disability insurance policies, prepare updated illustrations, and verify coverage remains in sync with clients’ financial goals.
Support the development of comprehensive financial plans using eMoney, including retirement projections, cash flow analysis, tax optimization strategies, and education funding plans.
Track client savings strategies and offer data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
Create investment proposals and insurance illustrations; model alternative planning scenarios to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years of prior experience in financial planning or paraplanning
Working knowledge of investments, insurance, taxes, and estate planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Familiarity with
eMoney
and
Morningstar Workstation
strongly preferred
CRM experience, ideally
Wealthbox
or a similar platform
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and adopt new technology tools
Compensation $65,000 - $85,000 yearly
