Information Technology Specialist 2 (NYHELPS) New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) provides a base pay range of

$70,951.00/yr - $89,138.00/yr . Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

Implement and support modules such as Software Asset Management Pro, Hardware Asset Management Pro, and Service Mapping.

Meet with IT teams to gather requirements.

Develop and maintain UI forms and workflows.

Integrate APIs.

Create scripts for automating routine tasks.

Qualifications

Reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for this title; OR

One year of permanent, competitive class service as an Information Technology Specialist 2; OR one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law; OR

Bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science; OR

Bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field AND one year of experience in information technology; OR

60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science AND one year of experience in information technology; OR

Two years of experience in information technology.
