Junior DevOps Engineer/Cloud Engineer

Junior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Fully on-site)

Duration: 1 year + contract

Responsibilities

Contribute to building AI/LLM-based services and platform features on public cloud

Assist in integrating AI capabilities into cloud‑native applications and platform services

Create documentation, patterns, examples, and how‑to guides

Build IaC and automation for provisioning, deploying, and scaling AI/cloud resources

Participate in testing, code reviews, technical discussions, and AI solution strategy

Develop reusable templates, modules, and tools that other teams can adopt

Collaborate with platform engineers, SREs, architects, and AI/ML specialists

Continuously learn and apply new AI and cloud technologies

Qualifications

2+ years in a cloud engineering, software engineering, or DevOps role

Hands‑on background with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure preferred)

Solid grasp of networking, security, compute, storage, and serverless technologies

Ability to build basic infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation

Practical use of CI/CD tools for automated deployments, provisioning, and observability

Strong problem‑solving mindset and eagerness to learn AI technologies

Exposure to AI/ML services or APIs (e.g., Bedrock, OpenAI, SageMaker)

Programming or scripting skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar

Great to Have

Skilled in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

Proficiency in security concepts like threat modeling and policy as code

Exposure to AI‑powered release automation platforms (e.g., Harness, Spacelift, Opsera)

Participation in hackathons, side projects, or open‑source work
