Job Description: The Associate Art Director supports the Sr. Art Directors / Creative Director in concepting and executing seasonal editorial imagery campaigns that push the Baby & Toddler and abercrombie kids brand forward. They will collaborate with photography, styling, design, product, and strategy teams to develop and share the creative vision each season for the Baby & Toddler brand. This individual will ideate and help create original branded content, while fostering cross‑functional partnerships required to execute the overall brand strategy.
What Will You Be Doing?
Working closely with the Sr. Art Directors / Creative Director on conceptual development and execution of Baby & Toddler seasonal editorial campaigns.
Leading the concepting, planning and execution of Baby & Toddler seasonal photoshoots, developing creative briefs, moodboards, casting, locations, storyboards, shot lists and on‑set direction in partnership with the Sr. AD/Creative Director.
Managing photography edits, post‑production with retouching and design partners; guiding final color and image usage across all channels.
Collaborating with the broader creative team—including A&F ADs, Studio AD, Social ADs, styling and video teams—to ensure seasonal visuals and content are synced, telling focused brand stories across all channels.
Building the Baby & Toddler brand voice for a new generation of consumers based on existing brand foundations.
Staying current on fashion, photography, social media, and cultural trends to test new ideas and advance the creative voice of the Baby & Toddler and A&F brands.
Communicating effectively within the A&F organization, presenting ideas and projects to cross‑functional partners and leadership.
Helping to implement a creative organization that supports a content‑led marketing strategy.
Assisting with other projects, including support for Abercrombie Kids & A&F brand AD as necessary.
What Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Photography, Advertising or related field.
4+ years of art direction experience in fashion retail or related industry.
On‑set photoshoot directing and location management experience.
Experience working within a branded, international environment.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Keynote and Mural programs.
Experience with layout for print and digital media and guiding layout artists and copywriters.
A strong eye for quality and trend as it relates to Abercrombie & Fitch brands.
Experience managing and collaborating with large cross‑functional teams.
