In the role of Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis, the employee will be responsible for the following:
Assist in building a best-in-class FP&A and Reporting function by developing, standardizing, and driving continuous improvement of all financial tools and planning processes.
Develop deep understanding of the underlying operations and drivers of firmwide expenses and performance.
Deliver financial insight and recommendations to our executive leadership for strategic and operational planning decisions.
Assist in spearheading the annual firmwide budgeting process, serving as a key partner to senior management and business leadership.
Collaborate with the team regarding system enhancements, and maintenance of Adaptive Insights/Workday, BAM’s budgeting & forecasting tool.
Support Management Accounting team in the rebuilding/enhancing of month‑end processes.
Contribute to the consolidation and analysis of management reporting results, monthly forecasts, and quarterly updates for senior leadership.
Collaborate internally with other cross‑functional teams to strategize, troubleshoot issues, and support any needs they may have.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: To effectively represent the Company and communicate with clients, the employee must be someone who displays the following qualities:
Strong problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to identify issues and potential solutions proactively.
A self‑starter who takes initiative and ownership over processes and is resourceful.
Continuous improvement mindset, with a constant eye to how processes can be rebuilt/enhanced.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of GAAP.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
4‑year degree in Accounting or Finance.
4 – 6 years’ experience.
Proficiency with MS Office is required.
Professional qualification such as CPA is a plus.
Hedge Fund and investment manager experience preferred.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools preferred.
