Business Analyst
Pay:
$84,000 - $105,000 with a 10% Short Term Incentive bonus paid out in Q1
Location:
Hybrid – 1 day onsite in Schaumburg
Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join a dynamic Data & Analytics team. This role involves partnering with various business units to deliver insightful data analysis, gather and translate business requirements, and support system development efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with departments such as Training, Retail Banking, Commercial Lending, Risk Management, Marketing, Operations, and IT to enhance operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business units to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Conduct interviews and gather detailed business requirements
Convert requirements into technical specifications for development teams
Analyze data to uncover optimization opportunities
Ensure developed systems and reports meet business needs
Extract and process large data sets into actionable insights
Support user training and create technical documentation
Develop and execute test plans and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Prepare and manage project plans, communicate progress, and handle scope changes effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or related field
5+ years of business analysis experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience in financial services/banking industry preferred
Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, Fraud regulations a plus
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar data analysis tools
Experience with Salesforce, nCino, FIS Insight, SAP Business Objects a plus
Familiarity with MS Visio and MS Project for modeling and planning
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to operate independently
