Join Our Team as an HR Generalist!
We're looking for a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support our field teams and drive key HR functions. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner in onboarding, HRIS and employee file administration, compliance, employee relations, policy implementation, and employment law compliance, and more — working closely with senior HR management to support the field operations. Responsibilities
Serves as the primary administrator for the human resource information system including the set-up and maintenance of employee documents, appropriate settings, approvals/workflow, time off, access levels, etc. to ensure maximum functionality. Organizes and leads weekly or monthly meetings with field leaders to discuss ongoing business needs. Develops strategies to strengthen relationships between People Operations and Field Operations. Reviews current HR trends and best practices as well as employment laws and regulations. Reviews job descriptions to ensure they adequately describe open positions. Provides coaching and guidance to team members and leaders to consistently build an ongoing succession plan. Oversees and coordinates new employee onboarding into the HRIS system ensuring completion of the new hire employee file including required forms and compliance documents. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. In partnership with People Operations management and field leadership, responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and escalated issues. Handles employee separation communication, offboarding and exit interviewing as needed. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Requirements
Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple responsibilities concurrently and respond to rapidly changing priorities. Strong organizational skills and follow through. Ability to think critically, logically and creatively. Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally. Emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm, thoughtful and professional when dealing with employee issues, investigations, or outbursts. Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Must be a self-managed person who can work on a variety of responsibilities with a diverse team with minimal direction or oversight. Proficiency and familiarity with Outlook, Word and Excel. Continuously pursues additional HR knowledge to assist in growth within the position. Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least three years of human resource management experience preferred. SHRM, PHR a plus. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Benefits
