Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist at Economy Linen & Towel Services plays a key role in supporting the HR department and overall employee experience. This position is responsible for full‑cycle recruiting, onboarding, and day‑to‑day HR support, ensuring that all processes align with company values and policies.

Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the full‑cycle recruiting process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and create effective job descriptions.
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Process all new hire documentation, background checks, and employment verifications.
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
Employee Relations & HR Support
Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
Maintain employee records and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, communication, and retention.
Assist with performance review processes, disciplinary documentation, and employee relations matters as needed.
Compliance & Administrative Support
Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance with federal and state labor laws.
Support the administration of company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Collaborate with payroll and benefits administration teams to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Participate in HR projects and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1–2 years of HR experience (internship or entry‑level HR role acceptable).
1–2 years of recruiting experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or ATS preferred.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices.
Work Environment This position operates primarily in an office setting with occasional interaction on the production floor. The role requires consistent communication with team members, managers, and new hires across multiple departments.
