We are currently seeking a
Consultant
to join our growing team! In this role, you will manage the accounting functions for a select group of clients throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by staying informed on industry trends and addressing issues or conflicts. Proactively offer solutions to clients and team members.
Prepare key engagement deliverables, including financial statements, technical accounting memos, account reconciliations, and other work papers. Collaborate with the engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Demonstrate technical proficiency in managing client responsibilities, staying current with industry trends and alternatives.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s organizational structure, procedures, and internal policies.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to further relationships and business opportunities.
Manage and maintain multiple client relationships and engagements, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful project execution.
Oversee billing and realization for assigned clients.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff, fostering effective communication within the team.
Cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment by supporting management decisions and contributing to a strong organizational culture.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with experience in both public accounting (audit) and corporate roles.
CPA certification is preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency with relevant accounting technologies and software.
