Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and results‑oriented E‑Commerce Marketing Manager to own the growth and performance of P.J. Salvage’s digital business. The role will oversee loyalty, email, website experience, affiliates, digital campaigns, and promotional planning while managing paid marketing channels in partnership with agencies and vendors.
Key Responsibilities E-commerce Growth & Marketing Strategy
Own the e‑commerce growth marketing strategy, ensuring processes and implementation align with business goals.
Partner with agencies and third‑party vendors to guide digital marketing efforts across PPC, SEO, paid social, and affiliate channels.
Manage and monitor the e‑commerce budget at a high level, ensuring spend aligns with ROI, ROAS, CPA, and sales objectives.
Collaborate with agency partners to optimize campaign delivery, landing page performance, and overall conversion.
Oversee forecasting and ensure marketing plans are paced appropriately for seasonal trends, promotional campaigns, and revenue goals.
Website UX & Conversion Optimization
Partner with cross‑functional teams to continually improve site navigation, content presentation, and product merchandising.
Conduct A/B testing across landing pages, messaging, and promotions to maximize conversion.
Ensure marketing campaigns and promotions are seamlessly integrated into the site experience.
Own the homepage and overall website experience, ensuring campaigns, merchandising, and brand storytelling are consistently represented.
Loyalty & Email Marketing
Manage and grow the loyalty program to increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
Own the email marketing calendar, including campaign development, automation, and personalization strategies.
Monitor key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion) and optimize for engagement and sales impact.
Campaigns & Promotional Calendar
Lead the creation and execution of monthly marketing stories and the annual promotional calendar.
Collaborate with creative, merchandising, and product teams to develop campaign assets and narratives.
Manage asset creation for all digital promotions, including text, static, animated, and video formats.
Affiliate & Partnership Marketing
Expand and optimize affiliate marketing partnerships to drive incremental revenue.
Support affiliates with creative, offers, and ongoing communication to maximize performance.
Reporting & Insights
Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly e‑commerce sales performance across all revenue streams.
Develop and present monthly sales forecasts and performance targets, covering total e‑commerce revenue.
Provide actionable insights on category, product, and customer trends to inform merchandising and marketing decisions.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and campaign‑based reporting with actionable insights on all KPIs.
Communicate campaign metrics, blockers, and opportunities to leadership in a clear and data‑driven way.
Own campaign tracking infrastructure (UTMs, pixels, GA4) to ensure accurate performance measurement.
Own monthly and quarterly business reviews across the digital team.
Market & Competitive Awareness
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and platform developments to inform strategy.
Ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive within the digital landscape.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in e‑commerce (Shopify Plus) and digital marketing, ideally in consumer goods, fashion, or retail.
Strong knowledge of loyalty (Yotpo), A/B testing (Dynamic Yield), email marketing (Attentive), affiliates (Rakuten), and promotional planning (Monday.com).
Experience working with digital ad channels (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Bing, Pinterest, etc.) and managing vendor/agency relationships.
Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (GA4, Shopify, Excel, Triple Whale, attribution/tracking tools).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience aligning marketing with creative, merchandising, and finance teams.
A test‑and‑learn mindset, with a proven ability to optimize campaigns for performance.
