Client Sales Executive —a role focused on selling industrial automation solutions and maintaining key client relationships in the west Texas and Oklahoma surrounding areas.
Location Requires up to 60% travel to clients in west Texas and Oklahoma surrounding areas.
Reporting Structure Kaleb Watts – Process Automation Regional Sales Director
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
Create and maintain a territory sales plan and strategic account plans.
Identify prospects and develop targeted entry strategies for each account.
Utilize business and financial knowledge to craft value propositions.
Coordinate deal crafting, positioning, and negotiation with cross‑functional teams.
Manage demand and qualify opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
Share industry, deal, and sales best‑practice knowledge with the sales community and mentor other Client Sales Executives.
Engage in executive‑level (CxO) discussions, understanding key strategies and financial drivers.
Communicate and implement the ECS strategy across multi‑site, global accounts.
Handle complex multi‑site, global account settings with large scale scope.
Qualifications
5+ years of complex, solution‑selling industrial automation experience (DCS, PLC, safety systems).
Proven track record closing deals of $5–10 M in contract value.
Demonstrated success in developing new business in the automation field.
Knowledge of manufacturing applications and business solutions.
Consistent record of meeting or exceeding yearly quota.
In‑depth experience with RFI/RFP proposal strategy, management, and response.
Ability to articulate IPS offerings to industry prospects.
Strategic sales, relationship, and account management experience in a major service organization, preferably global.
