Hartmann Young is partnering with a global manufacturer and supplier of high-bioavailability mineral ingredients, including citric acid, citrate salts (magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium), gluconates, bisglycinates, phosphates, and custom nutrient blends. With a strong international presence and a rapidly growing portfolio, the company is now expanding its North American operations, having just hired someone on the EC we are now searching for someone based on the West Coast.
This is a high-visibility, client-facing commercial role focused on identifying and closing new business with supplement brands, manufacturers, and distribution partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the nutraceuticals, ingredients, or functional food & beverage sectors, and a passion for bringing science-backed products to market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development across the West Coast.
Build strong relationships with dietary supplement brands, contract manufacturers, and formulators.
Promote a portfolio of clinically supported botanical and specialty ingredients.
Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to support go-to-market activities.
Attend major industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to generate leads.
Report on pipeline activity and regional performance to senior commercial leadership.
Ideal Candidate
2–6 years in B2B sales or business development within nutraceuticals, dietary ingredients, or functional health.
Strong understanding of the United States health & wellness market.
Proven track record of growing accounts and exceeding revenue targets.
Network of contacts among supplement brands, CMOs, and nutrition formulators.
Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work autonomously, and drive business forward.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Nutrition, or related field preferred.
