Job Type: Part‑time/Full‑time, Up to 30 hrs per week, Up to 25% travel, Varied schedule.

Position Summary Make a difference by mentoring and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to secure and maintain competitive employment. Provide job development, resume building, interview preparation, and on‑the‑job support across the San Fernando Valley/Los Angeles County area.

Job Description Responsibilities

Carry out directives from the Support Manager, Director of Services, CEO, and Board of Directors.

Provide mentorship and job development, including resume building, interview practice, and vocational training.

Assist clients and their support circles in securing competitive integrated jobs.

Use digital tools such as Zoom, online job portals, and learning platforms to meet employment goals.

Maintain strong relationships with employers, volunteers, and community partners.

Implement behavior support strategies and adapt tools based on individual needs.

Document and submit required records (eRSP daily notes, clocking, personnel files).

Attend staff development and trainings assigned.

Communicate updates to supervisors, support circles, and stakeholders.

Shadow and train other coaches as needed.

Perform other duties assigned by leadership.

Skills & Qualifications

Two years of college or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience in job development and on‑the‑job support preferred.

Experience supporting people with disabilities, preferably in community settings.

Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.

Proficient in computers and online platforms; remote service experience.

Positive behavioral support training experience preferred.

Commitment to inclusion and integrated employment for persons with disabilities.

Commitment to self‑advocacy and person‑centered planning.

Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands

Stand average 1 hour, sit 6 hours, walk 1 hour per 8‑hour shift.

Frequently bend, stoop, climb stairs, reach elevated, balance, pull, push.

Occasionally lift/carry 1–10 lbs.

Use both hands for parts of the day.

Drive automobile to meet job responsibilities.

Use smartphones and mobile devices for work functions.
