Role Overview We’re seeking a proven Account Executive with strong outbound sales experience to join our Tempe-based team. In this role, you’ll leverage your sales skills to engage captive and independent insurance agents, generate new business through cold calling and prospecting, and deliver tailored solutions that connect agents with in-market auto insurance shoppers.
Responsibilities
Drive outbound sales by prospecting, cold calling, and building a self-generated pipeline of insurance agent clients.
Effectively present MediaAlpha’s value proposition, close deals, and onboard new customers.
Collaborate with customer support and analytics teams to align performance strategies with agent revenue goals.
Partner with the marketing team to maximize referrals and expand market presence.
Consistently meet and exceed individual sales quotas while contributing to team success.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of outbound B2B sales experience, ideally in a high-volume cold-calling environment.
Prior experience selling to insurance agents strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Energetic, proactive, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Coachable, open to feedback, and continuous improvement mindset.
Team-oriented attitude with a collaborative spirit and a passion for celebrating success.
