Job Summary
The Forklift (Cherry Picker) / Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and pick materials within a warehouse or distribution center. This role involves fulfilling orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all materials are stored and handled safely. The ideal candidate has experience operating cherry picker equipment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and adheres to all safety and OSHA regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Operate cherry picker equipment to move, pick, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Accurately fulfill customer orders and ensure timely completion of picking tasks.
Properly label, organize, and store materials to maintain accurate inventory.
Verify quantities and measurements using basic math calculations.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines while operating equipment.
Assist with loading, unloading, and general warehouse organization as needed.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of the cherry picker and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
Proficient in operating a cherry picker or other powered industrial equipment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required throughout the shift.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, order picking, and inventory management procedures.
Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to comply with OSHA standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience
Prior experience operating cherry pickers, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment preferred.
Experience in material handling, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations desirable.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Must be able to safely operate powered industrial equipment and comply with all safety requirements.
