Overview

The receptionist/legal secretary is responsible for being the first point of contact within the law firm for clients, guests and staff. This role will also provide other administrative support services in a legal environment. Ideal candidates have great customer service skills, and have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Prior legal reception and/or legal secretarial support is strongly preferred.

Work Hours: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8AM - 5PM — NO NIGHTS/WEEKENDS

Position Details: This direct hire role is full-time, hours operate between Monday - Friday and typically are 8:00am - 5:00pm (occasionally fluctuating due to planned events). Business professional dress code and standards are required.
Hourly Compensation: $21.00-23.00 USD per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities
- Reception single point of contact (SPOC) at the firm for clients, guests and staff
- Administrative support for the senior manager/office administrator for the firm
- Prior legal reception and/or legal secretarial support is strongly preferred
- Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
- Providing accurate and professional support in areas such as main office reception, document services and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Notes: PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST REQUIRED.
- Candidates are expected to have prior reception/guest management experience in a comparable support setting
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management
- Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor; Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
- Lifting up to 55 pounds
