This position provides administrative, technical and clerical support to the federal/state survey, enforcement licensing and/or management teams. The primary responsibility is to ensure survey documents are uploaded timely to the federal data system and the MDH website. Additionally, the position is responsible for the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) administrative duties and supporting the Nurse Aide Registry monthly call.
Working as a Federal Enforcement Support staff you will:
Process the federal recertification survey packages, including all necessary processing procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and successfully upload them electronically to the CMS ASPEN Central Office (ACO) data system.
Track information for accurate reports for distribution to the HRD district offices.
Upload survey documents to the MDH/HRD website.
Provide administrative support for the federal/state enforcement, licensing teams, eleven district offices and state fire marshal as needed.
Complete CLIA email and processing 116 applications and Nurse Aide Registry call duties.
This position is currently eligible for up to 50% hybrid telework for applicants residing in Minnesota or a bordering state within 50 miles of the work location.
Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of clerical experience sufficient to provide administrative, technical, and clerical support. This experience must include:
Data entry skills sufficient to create database records and update entries in a timely manner.
Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and via email.
Additional qualifications to be assessed during the interview process:
Organizational skills to manage tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience using software such as Microsoft Office Suite sufficient to prepare, edit and finalize emails, memos, reports, and other documents.
Additional Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a background check and employment reference check.
