Senior Data Analyst – Los Angeles AudienceView is a leading live‑events technology company delivering software that fuels attendee engagement, ticket sales and advertising solutions for sports, music and theatre venues worldwide. The Senior Data Analyst will work with cross‑functional teams to produce data‑driven insights that improve internal efficiencies and client outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, feature gaps, and recommend data‑driven solutions that propel business initiatives.

Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI using advanced DAX, dimensional modeling and semantic layers (e.g., Databricks Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL).

Create and standardize data analysis frameworks, best‑practice documentation, and knowledge‑sharing wikis to ensure platform health.

Translate technical findings to non‑technical audiences through clear presentations and visualizations.

Stay current with emerging analytics platforms, evaluating new capabilities for both internal operations and client offerings.

Contribute to AI‑powered analytics initiatives, exploring machine‑learning techniques to enhance internal and client solutions.

What You’ll Need

7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst.

Proficiency in Python, SQL and Power BI with strong advanced DAX modeling skills.

Background in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and other analytical tools.

Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse.

Data storytelling expertise with strong visualization skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication; confident working independently and collaboratively across teams.

Attention to detail, critical‑thinking ability and experience working with large data sets.

Proficiency with VS Code and Power BI project version control (git).

Knowledge of AI‑powered analytics and machine‑learning concepts is a plus.

Strong documentation habits and ability to maintain clear, up‑to‑date wikis.

Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering or related field.

Preferred certifications: Microsoft Power BI, Databricks, or similar.

Nice to Have

Experience with ticketing or live‑event industry data.

Understanding of data modeling (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas, Microsoft Fabric).

Familiarity with Databricks Unity Catalog and modern data governance approaches.
