This position offers the chance to work with advanced imaging technology while collaborating with a team of specialized radiologists—all while enjoying the Arizona lifestyle.
This role requires relocation to the Phoenix, Arizona area.
The Role The CT Technologist will perform comprehensive computed tomography examinations with independence and technical expertise. This position demands strong clinical judgment, outstanding patient communication abilities, and proven experience producing high-quality diagnostic imaging. Success requires attention to detail, commitment to safety protocols, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct computed tomography examinations independently with minimal oversight. Gather relevant patient medical history and explain imaging procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding. Generate high-quality diagnostic CT images of designated anatomical regions following established protocols. Utilize ionizing radiation safely and effectively to produce diagnostic-quality studies for pathology detection. Manage CT scanner controls and settings to optimize image quality while maintaining radiation safety standards. Process and upload imaging studies to the PACS system with accurate documentation. Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to organizational safety protocols across all procedure types. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, interdepartmental staff, and facility personnel. Exercise professional judgment and technical expertise to achieve departmental objectives.
Qualifications Current State certification as a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization. Active ARRT registration in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Valid hands-on CPR certification (must remain current). Demonstrated competency with standard CT imaging practices and protocols. Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment. Strong communication and patient care abilities. Familiarity with PACS systems and digital imaging workflows. Must be willing to relocate to the Phoenix, Arizona area.
