Woodhull Medical Center, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is dedicated to exceptional patient care and outstanding medical education. As a mission‑driven institution, Woodhull provides care to the residents of North Brooklyn and operates as part of NYC Health + Hospitals, the city’s public hospital system.

We are currently recruiting full‑time Hospitalists to join our clinical team. Hospitalists supervise residents on a busy inpatient service, with teaching and supervision as major components of the role. Hospitalists also serve as Core Faculty in our ACGME‑accredited residency program, which includes 75 residents.

Responsibilities

Order appropriate tests.

Manage medications.

Coordinate specialty consults.

Oversee nursing and support staff.

Write discharge and follow‑up notes.

Communicate with patients’ primary care providers.

The position follows a 7‑day on/7‑day off schedule.

Qualifications

Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine is required.

Compensation & Benefits Annual Base Salary: $241,000‑$246,000

403B/457 participation inclusive of a 10% employer contribution with no employee match required.

Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement ranging from $3,000‑$3,500 inclusive of one week of paid CME time.

Projected annual revenue sharing payments of up to $30,000 contingent upon meeting required productivity and compliance metrics.

24 annual vacation days, 12 sick days, 12 recognized holidays.
