ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Network Engineer for an enterprise IT environment-an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support looking to advance their career in network engineering.
Design, implement, test, and support data, voice, and security network technologies. Configure and maintain LAN/WAN/VLAN/Wi-Fi and VoIP systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Evaluate, upgrade, and deploy network hardware/software (Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, etc.). Provide Tier 3 support, perform root cause analysis, and develop system performance reports. Manage lifecycle refreshes, capacity planning, and network documentation. Collaborate with infrastructure and VoIP teams to ensure stable, secure enterprise operations. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and QoS (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPC, STP). Expertise in firewalls, load balancers, wireless, and VPN (IPS, IDS, IPsec tunnels). Proficiency with Cisco networking devices (Nexus, Catalyst, Meraki) and Palo Alto firewalls. Experience supporting enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN networks and performing network analytics. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex, multi-site environments. BONUS QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Software Defined Networking (Cloud, VMware). CCNP (Enterprise or Routing/Switching preferred). WHY AVERRO?
